Born in Capoterra, Italy on the beautiful island Sardinia! Grew up in Duisburg in Germany. I went into horeca when I was 12 with the guidance of my uncle in Duisburg, in his pizzeria which I enjoyed very much. After highschool, at the age of 16, started learning pizza baking from my uncle with lots of joy. From 1980 until 1990 I’ve worked in different pizzerias abroad but my dream was always to make pizza’s in the style of my own culture and only with a traditional woodoven. From 1990 until 2004 I’ve worked in Rimini, Bolongia Riceone and Ciagliari where I finally got to practise that. Which was until I met the love of my life and moved to Rotterdam for her. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that didn’t mean to abandon my other passion when I walked in to O’Pazzo in 2005. I still work here with a great joy and pride: Pizza baking is my profession but it’s also who I AM.
